Maejor Ali


Brandon Green , better known by his stage name Maejor , is an American record producer and singersongwriter from Detroit, Michigan. Maejor has written and produced songs for several prominent artists in the music industry, including Trey Songz, Martin Garrix, Justin Bieber, Tinie Tempah, Keri Hilson, LeToya Luckett, Ciara, Chrisette Michelle, TPain, NeYo, Wiz Khalifa, Tisto, ThreeMafia and Iggy Azalea, among others. As well as producing music for national campaigns including Pepsi and the Boston Celtics, Maejor has also scored film soundtracks for Bratz The Movie , The Princess and the Frog and Think Like a Man . Maejor received his first gold plaque for his production on Bun Bs 2005 album Trill, while still attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. It has also been hinted that he has joined forces with Martin Garrix in the track Spaceships by Area21, leading people to think that the two worked together on the track.

Maejor was born Brandon Green on July 23, 1988. Maejor graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2008. Immediately after graduation, he moved to Atlanta and joined NeYos production team. Maejor released his first mixtape Upside Down, on August 4, 2010, which features appearances from Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, Drake and TPain. He also lent his vocal and production skills on the official remix of Ciaras Ride, with Andr 3000 and Ludacris. In 2010, he was also featured on American rapper Plies single She Got It Made.
